About Yuri Vanetik

Yuri Vanetik is a private investor, business strategist, political coalition builder, and philanthropist. He is a founder and managing partner of Vanetik International, LLC, a management consulting firm offering services including advisory and strategic planning to businesses and industries globally. Vanetik International, LLC specializes in capital formation, marketing, acquisitions, and dispositions, as well as other strategic planning matters. Yuri ’s background includes securities law, corporate governance, business strategy, and financial planning.

Yuri Vanetik is also a principal at Dominion Partners LLP and Dominion Asset Management, LLC, a real estate investment fund based in Newport Beach and Beverly Hills, CA. His investments and business ventures have spanned various disciplines, ranging from technology to natural resources to real estate, both internationally and domestically.

Yuri Vanetik earned his Bachelor’s of Arts in Legal Studies with a focus on Political Science, History, and Philosophy in 1991 from the University of California, Berkeley, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa. Yuri went on to complete further graduate research in political philosophy at Oxford University in 1993. He went on to earn his J.D. in 1998 from the University of California, Hastings, where he received the coveted American Jurisprudence Award and was the President of the International Law Society. He is also an executive graduate of the Anderson Business School at UCLA in Management. Yuri is also a graduate of the 2003 Wharton-Spencer Stuart Directors Institute on Corporate Governance and Stanford Law School’s 2004 Directors College. He also completed the Security & Exchange Commission Institute’s Reporting and Audit Executive Program in 2005.

Yuri Vanetik began working as in entrepreneur, giving him experience in a variety of industries, including technology, corporate finance, and venture capital. During his time in the finance industry. Yuri was in charge of organizing and serving as the principal of a group of institutional, retail funds. During this time, he also was in charge of making investments in fixed income products and private equity transactions domestically and abroad. It was also at this time that Yuri began making a shift in his career.

For over 17 years, Yuri Vanetik has had a distinguished political finance background across local, state, and national politics and policy. In his time, Yuri has served as State of California Co-Chair for the Rudy Giuliani Presidential Campaign, and as an All American Vice Chair for his President Campaign. Additionally, he was in the state finance leadership for late Senator McCain’s Kitchen Presidential Campaign and was a member of Senator McCain’s Kitchen Cabinet. He has also led finance and leadership teams for Mitt Romney’s political finance team. In 2001, he was appointed to the Homeland Security Council for Region 1 and serves there on the Board of Directors.

Throughout his accomplished career, Yuri Vanetik has also been appointed to numerous positions by numerous political figures. In 2008, Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed Yuri to serve on the California Criminal Justice Council, as well as the California Lottery Commissioner in 2010. That next year, the State Senate appointed Yuri to the California Economic Strategy Commission. Most recently, in 2017, Yuri was appointed to serve as National Finance Co-Chair for the Republican Party of the State of New York.

Yuri Vanetik is also a committed philanthropist that supports a variety of causes, including the arts, children’s health, libertarian-leaning think tanks, and related policy institutions. He was appointed to the board of directors for a foundation that supports children with serious or life-threatening illnesses, called Miracles for Kids. Shortly after, he joined the board of the Center for Global Change, an organization that assists the abused, neglected, and underprivileged orphan around the world. He currently serves on the Executive Committee for the American Red Cross and is on the board for Gen Next Foundation, which brings the next generation of leaders together to tackle the challenges of the future. Yuri serves on the Board of Trustees for UC Hastings and is a Lincoln Fellow with the Claremont Institute.

In his spare time, Yuri Vanetik collects wine, studies, and martial arts, and occasionally plays golf and tennis. He splits his time between his home in Southern California and Washington, DC. He is fluent in Russian, Spanish, and German.
